Synopsis:

THE FIRST-EVER OFFICIAL COMPANION TO THE AWARD-WINNING AMERICAN COMEDY WEB-SERIES ABOUT GAMERS!

Since launching in 2007, the comedy web series The Guild has become an Internet phenomenon, with over 150 million views. Created, written by and starring Felicia Day, it follows the story of a Guild of online gamers who finally meet in real life. Here at last is the official companion to the show that fans have been waiting for, featuring an Intro from Felicia, in-depth interviews and scores of photos.

The Guild: The Official Companion is a must own love letter to fans of the web series The Guild. If you’re new to the series we discussed it on today’s Web Series Wednesday, you can check that out here.

Those who have followed the hugely popular series for the last six seasons know that when the last season wrapped up it did so with a finality that seems to indicate that the show is at an end, and this book seems to confirm that indication.

It is packed with everything we saw on the show and interviews with the cast about their characters. It also has a lot of great production notes including green screen filming for in-game scenes, props and costumes.

The Guild: The Official Companion covers everything from the episodes to the Holiday Specials, to the music videos, to the behind the scenes of the infamous “Cawks” painting. And there are UPC codes throughout the book that take you to episodes and music videos. Armed with my phone and this book, I might never get off the couch.

I give The Guild: The Official Companion Five Out of Five Stars.
