REVOLUTION Season 1 Recap, Season 2 Extended Preview, and U.N. Partnership Featurettes

Can you believe it? One week from tonight is the Season 2 premiere of Revolution. I feel like I’ve made the transition to Revolution Wednesdays, how about you? That 8:00 start time will take some adjustment, but I think we’ll manage just fine. Needing to know what happens to the world when the power comes on and the nukes are launched is a good incentive.

To help us all prepare, NBC has released a Season 1 recap featurette, and if you’re a spoilerphobe, you may want to just stop after that first featurette. Because the second featurette, well… Season 2 is taking quite a turn. Let’s just say that “fireflies” will no longer only refer to the bugs and the Whedon series.

Finally, NBC has also released some interview footage, and we’ve included some here for you with Revolution creator Eric Kripke, taken when Season 2 premiered at the U.N. recently. The actual U.N. Apparently the U.N. approached Revolution‘s Bad Robot and proposed a deal where, if they could sit in on some writing sessions and help incorporate into the show some of the real-life challenges of the 1/3 of the world’s population who actually live without energy, then the writers would have access to research about the situation. The result is reportedly reflected in several ways in the upcoming season. Definitely check out the interview.
