Today we have a special Steampunky treat for you guys. The images below are from the most awesome Batman game that never will be. Day 1 Studios, the guys behind F.E.A.R. 3, began working on a video game adaptation of the Elseworlds story Gotham by Gaslight, a comic that pitted the Batman against Jack the Ripper in Gotham City circa 1889.
For reasons unknown the project had been cancelled and all we have are a few concept images and screenshots of what might have been. Check them out; I’m going to spend the rest of the day very depressed and bed-ridden.
