Check out this cool behind the scenes video from ET, featuring Paul Bettany on the set of PRIEST. Adapted by Cory Goodman from a TokyoPop comic book, PRIEST is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires and follows a warrior priest (Paul Bettany) who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Cam Gigandet plays a young wasteland sheriff who is part vampire. He partners with Bettany to save the girl he loves, the niece.
I’m a huge fan of Priest manga.
But, I have to say that the story of this movie has nothing to do with the story from the manga.
A priest with a cross on his head and a sheriff, are the only two things, right now, that are on the manga.
But, this is no Dragon Ball :) … and I will be waiting for this movie.

2010 is the year for this man. I am rooting for him, and he has amazing talent. Whoo! ^_^
Paul Bettany is really an underrated actor. I find him to be very talented. He was in Davinci Code as a priest that kill a lot of people, the Secret life of Bees, a Beautiful Mind. He seems to be a very nice man and devoted father and I am looking forward to seeing Priest.
Leah, we totally dig him here. He’s been great in everything I’ve ever seen him in and even one movie where you don’t get to ‘see’ him.. as Tony Stark’s artificial intelligence “manservant” JARVIS, which he will hopefully be reprising for Iron Man 2!
Bettany also stars in ‘Legion’ – which hits theaters on January 22nd, he’s going to be all over the place in 2010… so I hope people like him.
