He has already played Rorschach and we’ll get a chance to see him as ol’ furnace face, Freddy Krueger just around the corner, and now he’s going to play Sinestro in Green Lantern?
AICN is reporting a rumor (I repeat a RUMOR) that actor Jackie Earle Haley has been cast as the lead villain – Sinestro, in the Green Lantern movie being directed by Martin Campbell and Starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.
As if that weren’t a big enough rumor, they’re also saying that another DC character you may have heard of, named SUPERMAN will have a cameo in Green Lantern as well. While this is still a rumor (did I mention that?), if it’s true, it is (in my opinion) pretty great casting.
AICN says their source is “someone working on the film,” but I’m going to wait until Warner Bros or Jackie Earle Haley himself say so before I consider it fact.
