After what feels like forever and an eternity of waiting, Michael Dougherty’s horror anthology film Trick ‘r Treat will be hitting the DVD shelves in a few short weeks.
This could possibly be the BEST Halloween movie ever to never be released in theaters proper. I hope it sells a gazillion copies so Warner Brothers can eat crow.
In case you have lived under a horror movie rock, here’s the plot: Four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.
Trick ‘r Treat hits DVD and Blu-ray on October 6th. It can’t get here soon enough!
I must have been under a rock because I had not heard of this…but now that I have I am crazy excited. I’ll buy it.
I cant recommend it enough. It’s the best movie to never be in a theater
