Robert Rodriguez is prepping a pair of movies.
First up is Nerverackers, now in pre-production and then, confirmed to MTV as his next project, is the long brewing live-action adaptation of The Jetsons.
Robert Rodriguez has a lot on his plate these days with all the movies he plans on making. He’s talked about the ‘Predator’ Reboot, ‘Sin City 2′, The Grindhouse spin-off ‘Machete’, and his Sci-fi thriller ‘Nerverackers’ and while it has been mentioned in the past, his live action version of ‘The Jetsons’ is what he’s starting next year.
‘The Jetsons’ will be a live-action version of the futuristic 1960′s cartoon.
“I’ve been developing [The Jetsons] for awhile,” Rodriguez said, adding that he’s hoping to start shooting “next year. We’re writing the script right now.
So I guess that means we’ll be waiting quite some time for the for the good stuff from Rodriguez. I was really hoping for ‘Sin City 2′ and ‘Nerverackers’ some time before the next millennium but apparently Robert has different ideas.

Let someone like Uwe Boll make The Jetsons, it couldn’t do anything but bolster his career!
